🎉 Mini 2 Has Begun!
Our second mini course rotation kicked off on Wednesday, October 8, 2025!
Students are diving into new topics and hands-on experiences designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.
🏫 No School for Students – Monday, October 13, 2025
Enjoy the long weekend! There will be no school for students on this date.
📸 Make-Up Picture Day – Friday, October 17, 2025
If your child missed Picture Day earlier this fall, this is their opportunity to get their photo taken for the yearbook and student ID.
🎃 Trunk or Treat – Thursday, October 16, 2025 (6:00–8:00 PM)
Hosted by the Nazareth Area High School Junior Class Executive Council, this event will be held at the Intermediate School and is open to all families!
🎟️ Tickets are $3 per child, and the evening promises candy, costumes, and fun for everyone.
🎶 Soundfest – Saturday, October 18, 2025 (5:00 PM)
Join us at Andrew S. Leh Stadium for this exciting annual music event!
Come out and support our talented student musicians as they showcase their hard work and school pride.
🧩 Benchmark Assessments – Week of October 20, 2025
All 7th and 8th grade students will take benchmark assessments this week.
These important check-ins help our teachers track student progress and tailor instruction to meet each learner’s needs.
🧠 Fall STEAM Program – Begins Tuesday, October 21, 2025
Our Fall STEAM experience is one of the most exciting learning opportunities of the year!
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) allows students to explore real-world challenges through hands-on, project-based learning.
💡 Students sign up for their chosen STEAM activity and participate weekly for six weeks.

🏔️ 7th Grade Blue Mountain Field Trip – October 22–24, 2025
All 7th grade teams will visit Blue Mountain on their assigned day between Wednesday, October 22 and Friday, October 24.
Teachers will share all trip details directly with families.
❤️ Red Ribbon Week – October 27–31, 2025
NAMS proudly celebrates Red Ribbon Week, the nation’s largest drug-use prevention campaign.
Our Junior National Honor Society, Blue Eagle Ambassadors, and Eagle Vision News teams will lead fun and meaningful activities promoting a drug-free lifestyle and positive choices.

The first marking period concludes on this date.
📚 Eighth grade students enrolled in quarterly courses (World Languages and Digital Careers) will transition to their new classes for Quarter 2.
