As we approach our upcoming parent-teacher conferences this month, we would like to inform you of an update regarding our free breakfast program.
Breakfast will be available to all students on early dismissal days during Parent-Teacher Conferences in November, as well as during spring conferences later this school year. This ensures that all students continue to have access to a nutritious start to their day, even when school schedules are adjusted.
The breakfast menu has been updated to include these additional service days. Updated menus are now available on both the District and individual school websites for your reference.
We appreciate your continued partnership in supporting the health and well-being of our students.

What an amazing day at Shafer Elementary's Spirit Walk! 🎉👟 Our students had a blast walking, dancing, and showing off their school spirit! Special shoutout to Flash the SES mascot and FeFe from the IronPigs and a Pizza guest for making an appearance and joining the fun!

Just a friendly reminder that the Spirit Walk has been moved to tomorrow (9/26). Please have your kids wear their Shafer shirts. Below is the grade level schedule. You may park on the street around Shafer if you plan to view the walk from the perimeter of the school property.
Spirit Walk Schedule:
1st grade 8:45-9:15
Kindergarten 9:20-9:50
4th grade 9:55-10:25 and Enhanced LS
2nd grade & IU class 10:30-11:00
3rd grade 11:05-11:35
Due to the forecasted rain tomorrow morning, we are bumping the Spirit Walk to Friday morning. It will be a smaller version of what was scheduled, but it will still be a lot of fun! Please have your kids wear their Shafer shirts on Friday!
Thanks!

Hello Blue Eagle Community,
We’ve updated our existing no-trespassing signs across all NASD schools to reinforce student and staff safety. Campuses are closed to the public overnight year-round and from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on school days (180 days). This does not change normal drop-off/pick-up or visiting for official school business or activities. Please continue to check in at the main office.

Thank you for helping us keep our campuses safe.
